The "Sickingen-Palais" (Sickingen Palace) was built between 1769 and
1775 by P.M. d'lxnard as the city palace for Baron Ferd. Seb. of Sickingen-Hohenburg.
Fire gutted the palace in 1944 following the city bombing. From 1962-1965, the Sickingen Palace was rebuilt using the old facades.
